Waypoint is a personal productivity application developed by Ken Shinn (ken@kenbshinn.com). This policy describes what data Waypoint accesses, how it is used, and how it is protected.
When you sign in with Google, Waypoint receives:
If you grant calendar access, Waypoint reads:
Waypoint also stores data you create within the app: tasks, subtasks, notes, and note tags.
Your account data (name, email, tasks, notes) is stored on a private server hosted by Hostinger in the European Union. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Session tokens expire after 30 days.
Calendar event data is not stored on Waypoint's servers — it is fetched live from Google each time you open the Calendar or Home screen.
Waypoint does not sell, rent, or share your personal information or calendar data with any third parties, except as required to operate the app (Google APIs for authentication, calendar, maps, and routes).
Waypoint is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
